"Like I always say, there's no 'I' in "team". There is a 'me', though, if you jumble it up."

We would worry less about what others think of us if we realized how seldom they do.

All designed objects are propaganda for a certain way of life.
Sometimes we need to stop analysing the past, stop planning the future, stop figuring out precisely how we feel, stop deciding exactly what we want, and just see what happens.
We are not the same persons this year as last; nor are those we love. It is a happy chance if we, changing, continue to love a changed person.

Sarcasm punctuation mark aims to put an end to email confusion

HEY! what about IRONY (θ) or Facetiousness (ζ). Can’t people read a back-story? are we moving back to icons, runes and hieroglyphs? Genius way to sell fonts and icons eh? Has to be spoof.

BD61C406-A7FF-4359-8535-FACF6F429378.jpgNow a US firm has come up with an ingenious solution to this very real problem – a new item of punctuation.

The SarcMark, as it has been named, is designed to be used in the same way as an exclamation or question mark.

4257EB4E-F8E0-4165-9DD6-935965631806.jpgAnyone concerned that the irony of their email or text message might not be appreciated by its recipient can use the symbol to close their sentence, thereby avoiding awkward misunderstandings.

The symbol – a dot inside a single spiral line – can be installed onto any PC running Windows 7, XP or Vista, as well as Macs and Blackberry mobile devices.

Thanks to Dr Joolz for the Tweet that alerted me to this leap for civilisation.
